The Global ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵInitiatives (GEIs) are a joint partnership between Indiana University’s School of ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵand the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies. These initiatives have been developed to promote global mindedness and global competencies of students, pre-service and in-service teachers, principals, and faculty members. They are also aligned with campus efforts to internationalize K-12 education in Indiana. By intertwining academic, practical, and research components, these initiatives raise awareness about global issues and foster deeper understanding of other cultures from different parts of the world.
