With this combination bachelor’s degree from the College of Arts and Sciences and AMP (accelerated master's program) from the School of Education, you'll be set up for success as a more marketable educator in just one additional year.
This unique program saves you money and enables you to study the content area you’re passionate about while pursuing a master’s degree (as an undergraduate upperclassman). Then, you will enroll in an 11 month IUB Secondary ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµMasters and Licensure Program (middle or high school). You will be immersed in educational coursework, and in-person clinical and student teaching experiences that prepare you for all classroom settings. Upon successful completion, you will be eligible for an initial teaching license and a M.S.Ed. in Secondary Education.
